The Justice Institute of British Columbia (JIBC) consists of material provided through https://live-praxissim.pantheonsite.io and https://www.praxissim.ca, hereinafter referred to as the “Site”. Use of the Site is subject to all of the following Terms of Use, which JIBC has the right to revise at any time without providing notice. Please check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of any changes to these Terms of Use will mean you accept the changes.  If you do not agree with these Terms of Use, please do not use the Site.

Accuracy and Completeness of Information

JIBC does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of information on the Site. While every effort is made to ensure accuracy and completeness of information on the Site, JIBC does not assume responsibility for inaccuracies or omissions. Proprietary Rights

Unless specified otherwise, all material on the Site is the property of JIBC. JIBC is protected by copyright, trade-mark and other intellectual property laws and international treaties and all such rights shall continue to be the property of JIBC. The “Justice Institute of British Columbia”, “JIBC” and the JIBC logo are trade-marks of JIBC. All rights in them are reserved to JIBC.

Reproduction and Distribution of Site Material

No material from the Site may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any way, except that you may download one copy of the materials on any single computer and produce one printed copy for your personal use only, provided you keep intact all copyright and other proprietary notices. Modification of the material from the Site or use of such material for any other purpose is a violation of the copyright and other proprietary rights of JIBC. Neither the provision of any such material on the Site nor these Terms of Use are intended to grant, expressly or by implication, any right or license to any intellectual property right or similar proprietary right of any kind that may be possessed by JIBC. Reproduction and distribution of material on the Site is at the risk of the user. JIBC reserves the right to revoke this authorization at any time, and any such use shall be discontinued upon written notice from JIBC.

The Site includes documents – in various formats – that can be downloaded. While every effort is made to ensure that all documents provided on this site do not contain computer viruses, users should take appropriate precautions to scan for viruses. JIBC does not assume responsibility for any damages resulting from downloading files from the Site.

Restriction or Termination of Access to the Site

JIBC may in its sole discretion restrict or terminate your access to the Site at any time, without notice. In the event of termination, you are no longer permitted to access the Site. JIBC is not liable to any party for such termination.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use have been made in and shall be construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, and you irrevocably consent to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of British Columbia for any claim, proceeding or action under the Terms of Use against JIBC. These Terms of Use shall constitute the complete and exclusive agreement between you and JIBC with respect to and governing your use of the Site. If any provision of these Terms of Use is declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed from these Terms of Use and the other provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
